I had a very disappointing experience with Broom & Bucket for an Airbnb turnover clean. The cleaning quality was extremely poor and did not meet basic standards. Key areas were not cleaned at all, including a greasy oven. Kitchen surfaces, the hob and utensils were still dirty, and dishes from previous guests were put back into cupboards without being checked or dried. I even found items left under the bed, and bedding was changed in unused rooms while used beds were not changed. When I raised these issues with photos, I was told this was their standard. So this is simply not acceptable for an Airbnb turnover. The one star is only for polite communication. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this service. Update following the company’s reply: The property is brand new and had already been thoroughly cleaned before the first guests arrived, so this was not a situation requiring a deep clean. My concerns were not limited to the oven. I also documented issues with kitchen work surfaces, hob, utensils and areas under the beds not being cleaned properly. In addition, bed linen was changed in unused rooms but not changed in rooms that had been used by guests. For an Airbnb property, it is essential that the home is fully guest-ready after each turnover. Unfortunately, this was not the case here.

I had a deep clean done today by abbi and Juan. They both did a fantastic job, and they were lovely and professional. Thank you again, I'm so grateful for what you've done and I'm definitely booking in again. I'd highly recommend people to book in with Broom and Bucket if they need a cleaning service done x

scammed me off £375, got my money back because both banks sided with me. Then they threatened to take me to civil court to retrieve £500 of extra fees! (havent done so yet, probably never will as I have the sufficient evidence and they’d just lose even more money) be careful of these devious scammers, look on indeed.com they are hiring 16 year old workers with “no previous experience” probably why my place was left in a tip and had to get re cleaned
