Lovely place with a good choice of beers.

I've been meaning to come here for a pint and do a review for a while and eventually have arrived here. I believe it previously used to be a Assurance company who laid down the magnificent tile work in the side room. It's well worth viewing. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside with plenty of seating in the back room. It always seems to have a good range of real ales and beers. The staff were friendly and very quick to serve. There's also a nice view of St. Georges Hall from the seats by the front windows. It's also very handy for the Bus stops and train station.

The beer and service in here is always spot on and they give tasters so you can try before you buy.

Historic pub , most amazing Victorian tiles in back room ! Got to be seen . Quieter than City Centre , great range of beers
