Amazing establishment! We came in here without a booking (having been unsuccessful at other places due to having a large dog and a baby) and the staff were really welcoming and accommodating. The beer selection was fantastic as was the food, best pie I've eaten in a long time! Can't recomend this place enough, amazing staff amazing beer amazing food!
Have been a few times for drinks and really like the pub so we thought we'd go for Sunday lunch based on the good reviews. The food tasted fine but the portions , particularly of meat were really small for the price paid. I had the lamb rump and husband had the beef short rib and both were very small. I was actually still hungry at the end of my lunch. So we'll stick to going for drinks from now on.
Great place and fantastic choice of beers. Why the low rating? Card payment only. If you know, you know. Won't be going back unless this changes.
