Maria did my hair so well. I had both Colour and Cut and I got exactly what I wanted. She is so patient and has attention to details. I have been looking for a hair stylist in the UK, who does well with Asian hair and finally found Maria. 😍 I would definitely go back again. 🤩🤩🤩

I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing this review so I could see how my hair developed after my appointment and give an honest opinion. I visited this salon for a perm. There were two women working that day, both of whom seemed very pleasant. However, the stylist I was booked with was running behind schedule, so I waited around 20–25 minutes before being spoken to. After my hair was washed, there was another short wait before my stylist came over. She explained the aftercare process for a perm and the possible effects, which I appreciated, even though I was already familiar with them. The perm itself was completed successfully, but the appointment felt quite rushed since I was the last client of the day and things were already running late. I was happy with my hair when I left and have followed all of the aftercare instructions carefully. That said, the final result didn’t quite match the photo I provided. My hair wasn’t styled or parted the way I’d asked—it just looked as though it had been curled all over, without the defined shape or parting I expected. My hair was also cut and layered after the perm was done, which wasn’t what I’d asked for—I only wanted a light trim to even out the length. I’ve been working on growing my hair for some time, so I was disappointed to lose more length than expected. It’s now been a few weeks, and although I understand that perms naturally soften over time, mine has already dropped quite a lot despite using the recommended treatments. Given the cost, I’m a bit disappointed that the results didn’t last longer or match my original vision. Overall, my experience wasn’t unpleasant—the staff were friendly and professional—but I don’t think I’d return for another perm. I do think this salon would be great for other services, such as colouring or styling, but for a perm I would probably look elsewhere next time.
