First time at Root 69, Steve is a super friendly guy, discussed the style I wanted, absolutely delighted with my cut. Rooy69 is a hidden gem defo recommend. Don't be put off by the parking restrictions, ample spaces at the cathedral first 30 mins free.

Really friendly, great vibe in there. Didn’t wait long, cut was done exactly how I’d wanted very quickly, will be retuning! Take cash! (I did walk past the entrance a couple of times but that was more an iPhone map issue 😅)

I've only ever gone here since I first visited nearly 2 years ago now. He knows my hair and isn't afraid to help me know exactly what I need. Also a good chat.

Steve is one of the best hairdressers ive ever had the pleasure of meeting and cutting my hair. From the moment you come in hes friendly, warm, and honest with you. Treats you like a friend. He's experienced and knows his stuff, and is extremely talented and skilled. I came in and showed my previous haircut to him and he practically copy pasted my old cut back onto my head! If you're someone who needs a gender neutral haircut at a good price, please give him your business. I certainly will be returning the next time I need a trim!
