Great 'old' pub or so I thought, turns out it's fairly recent! Great drink and great service
A lovely old converted Georgian house. Bright and interesting, with a nice chilled atmosphere.
Came to The Red Lion with a mate and honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. We grabbed a couple of ales on tap and straight away noticed how cheap it was compared to a lot of other pubs around Liverpool; definitely one of the better spots if you don’t want to spend loads but still have a great time. What really stood out though is how big the place is. It’s got so many different rooms and floors, so you can easily find your own vibe depending on what you’re after, whether it’s something more chill or a bit livelier. Overall, great value, loads of space, and a solid pub atmosphere
