Plumber came out today, after I called them yesterday. Very impressed with the customer service from both the person taking the phone call and the plumber who attended. Both were friendly, polite, calm, and attended really quickly. Would definitely recommended! :)

Second Review for most recent second job. 17th March 2025 This is a big thankyou from me, for sending Max to fix my burst pipe yesterday. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and an all round great bloke.You seem to recruit people who are exceptionally good at their jobs AND good at talking to customers as well.  Max appeared at our door first thing.He took a job that was supposed to have been completed by another tradesman from another business, years ago, in the past, and fixed it properly this time. He showed me that the repair of a plastic pipe some years ago had been done by physically pulling two pipes together and fitting a screw connector so that it was permanently under tension. The big bang I heard from upstairs was the pipe beneath me popping apart as the connector failed by cracking under its stress. You could see that Max was accurate in what he said. Max went to buy a new connector and a new piece of pipe the right length and he fitted it properly. He was an absolute star.Now I have my water back on and can flush toilets, put my heating on, make a cup of tea and have a wash etc all thanks to Max. Phewf what a relief. The last time a plumber from you came it was a good experience and here you are again providing the very best service anyone can hope for. First Review for first job. The plumber has left our building and I can't wait to tell you about him. I should mention that I am 71 years old, so I am not writing about how handsome he was but rather to say this is the BEST plumber I have ever had come to my house having lived at 4 different addresses, and he is the best. We gave our plumber a long list of varying jobs to look at in our 3 floor very large home, including 3 toilets not working at all or just poorly, one quooker (boiling water tap) that died having never been serviced in 11 years (we didn't realise), and many sinks(6) with new plugs being needed. This amazing man took notes of everything I asked, including the fact I asked him if some jobs like the Quooker were even possible. He very professionally talked to us and then left to buy parts as required. He returned and started at the top floor and worked his way down through all the jobs until the kitchen. On taking the Quooker apart it was a calcified mess inside, but after disappearing into his van with it, he came back with a large bag of mess to take away and a much cleaner Quooker. I can't tell you how much it meant to me at my age to be able to use my en-suite toilet again after months of promises from other plumbers to come and no one arrived. I know all the good plumbers are very busy to be fair, but this man was a very good one. I would recommend him to anybody. He was polite, Professional and the nicest plumber you ever could want to meet. We have had some right old cowboys at our house before, and this man was no such thing. I want to thank his company, Alwyn Glover Ltd, and I will be asking them again if I need a plumber in the future. What a great company. I saw their van in my village and the driver told me he was a joiner but that they had plumbers too. I rang them and emailed them and now everything is fixed.Thankyou Jake and Alwyn Glover Ltd. We had a problem with no hot water. Jamie came round immediately and solved the problem within 15mins. Excellent service. Thank You so much.
