Phil did an excellent job servicing our gas fire which had been behaving erratically by going out aftrr 20 minutes or so. He took time and care to locate the problem and fix it. A thoroughly professional job and I cannot recommend him too highly.

Excellent company to deal with from start to finnish communications were great and you were kept upto date all the time.Workmanship was good Excellent job all round very clean working and pleasant people as well, what more can you ask.

I engaged the services of Doncaster Plumbing & Heating to carry out a gas safety check on my boiler and they booked me in. A technician called Phil came out and within five minutes flat he had condemned and disabled my boiler without carrying out any tests on it whatsoever. He condemned my boiler purely on the basis of a cursory visual inspection. He attached a condemned notice to the boiler which he did not fill in properly. Some fields (presumably required) were left blank. See attached photo. Within an hour Doncaster Plumbing & Heating had e-mailed me a quote for supplying and fitting a new boiler. The quote was valid for two weeks. Meanwhile the bill for the gas safety check was £65. While Phil was still at my house I informed him that as it was the month of May I would probably defer getting a new boiler and that my only immediate concern was hot water. As it happened my immersion heater hadn’t worked for a while and I asked Phil to look at it with a view to fixing it. After a quick inspection Phil diagnosed the problem which he said was the unit at the top of the water tank needing to be replaced. After he left I phoned the Doncaster Plumbing & Heating office to arrange for Phil to come back and fix the immersion heater. They booked me in for two days later and quoted me £186 all in. When Phil came to fix the immersion heater he was accompanied by a young lad. When the job was completed the immersion heater still didn’t work. Phil then told me that the switches on the immersion also needed replacing and he assured me once that job was done the immersion heater would be working again. He also informed me there would be a delay of a few days as he needed time to source the switches. After Phil and the young lad had left I discovered that one of them had used my toilet without asking, dropped a number two and left skids as well as unflushed paper. Phil returned five days later to replace the switches but before doing so he realised the problem was actually with my electrical fuse box. He said that working on the fuse box was outwith his area of expertise and he walked off the job. Thus ended my involvement with Doncaster Plumbing & Heating, leaving me £251 out of pocket with a condemned boiler and no hot water (or heating) for a full week and counting.

Have used D.P.H on a few occasions . Recently they installed a new shower and unit. Excellent workmanship. Friendly workmen . Definitely will use again and I highly recommend them
