Breakfast of Champions Stopped by to take some proper pies back south and decided on a cheeky hot one for breakfast. It was so chuffing good I had to go back in and have another. The others were locked in the boot so I didn’t eat them on the way home. Honestly the finest proper pork pies since Thirkells in Ilkley closed 40 years ago. I was weaned on them and I reckon Elites are even better! Lovely banter with the staff too.
I'm from Hull and we travel up to Starbeck just for a treat and we always get the pork pies they are the best then I tried the thin pork sausage and they are absolutely delicious. This shop is a diamond in the rough and the people of Starbeck are lucky to have this on their doorsteps.see ya soon
