GW-Plumbing

Wanted an outside tap, said they'd pop round but when I reminded them as nobody had been, I was told they don't come out and do estimates for small jobs (fine) but it would be under £100 (fantastic). The guy came and had to rush off within a few minutes due to an emergency (fine), came back a couple of days later, quickly done and did a decent job to be fair (great). I got the bill quite a bit later and it was double what I expected. Mentioned this when I received the invoice and I was given a breakdown (I don't think he was there half of the 1.5 hours billed but it's now months ago and I was busy working so I was clock-watching) and said "sorry if it's more, if I'd have seen it, I could of given an estimate" - you did give an estimate and it was double, I've paid but I won't be using again.

We cannot speak highly enough about the work done by Danny and Luke.We had a bathroom renovation and are really pleased by the end result. In the past we have also used them for various plumbling emergencies and they have always come quicky and solved the problems. We would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Woke up to the nightmare of water running through the light fittings this morning. Not a problem for GW Plumbing - Danny and Luke arrived really quickly found the issue and sorted it out. Great people with a great attitude - left everything clean and tidy which is a massive bonus !

Needed the water pressure increased in my home. Other plumbing firms I contacted were not interested and fobbed me off. Danny from GW came round, sorted it out no problems. Laid a new pipe, organised Yorkshire Water come and lay a new pipe also. Pressure increased. Great job. Thank you!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about GW-Plumbing. From the first phone call and email exchange with Graham about what we wanted and how we could achieve it, right through to the completion of the work by Danny and his team, they have been brilliant. They insulated our bathroom from the inside, organised all the tradespeople needed, included a tiler, plasterer, joiner and painter/decorator, and did a stellar job fitting our new suite. They were always polite, tidy, friendly and professional. They always made time to discuss options and potential issues and we feel secure in the knowledge that if there are any problems down the line, we can get in touch and they'll come out and have a look. Would definitely use again and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in the York area who's looking to transform their bathroom quickly and to a high standard.
