We’ve just used James Bird landscaping for the third time and as ever we have had such professional, fantastic and helpful services. Thank you James, Mark and co
[EDIT:] Thanks for your prompt response, but perhaps it would have been more tangible if you'd reviewed my points 1st. Much more interesting were your Google reviews going from 10 in 6 years to 18 in a matter of hours after this review was posted as you've tried to bury it, or so it looks. I'm not saying they're ALL FAKE, but that's suspicious, as well as some of the contents of them. & you don't mention whether your employee was acting on instructions from the Council, I'm sure you'd know whether that was true or not. So, if your employee Mark is the same person who was here about a month ago (I think it was, but not certain), or it was another of your employees, then they were asked not to work in that part of the garden & the property line was explained to him in a friendly, polite & clear way then. But with this return visit , which I believe was booked by the resident of no.22, you/your employee chose to ignore that. The resident of 22 has NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER to tell you to carry out work where Mark was, on this side of the property line. The front & back gardens on this side of the property line are communal for my home, & the flat above, & the gardens the other side of the property line, front & back, are communal for No.22 & 24. This was explained to the residents of 22/24 earlier this Spring & I heard them both reply, "We know". & it's for good reason... it allows each property some private outside space whether they get on with their neighbours or not. & that space is all the more important to the elderly & disabled who live here; & same as anywhere, if you don't like the garden with the property then don't rent/buy it. You don't get to unilaterally decide to go & use your next door neighbours garden because it's nicer than yours; let alone send gardeners around to strim, mow, or dig up their shrubs without a word, or permission! If it was Mark or another of your employees who I spoke to those weeks ago, then he/they/you should have checked properly (that's such a basic, basic principle for any business carrying out work on a property), especially as you've been forewarned. & regardless of that, Mark certainly shouldn't have decided to argue, should not have lied saying he was working on the instructions of SCC when he wasn't, nor have been deliberately malicious, nasty & obnoxious as he was either!!
The landscapers brought new life to my mum’s garden and created a beautiful and sociable place for us to spend family time. They were polite, patient and listened to what she wanted and delivered this expertly. J Turner.
Martin and his team look after our quite large garden every two weeks. They're a friendly lot who do a great job at a very reasonable cost. They don't need much guidance but anything we ask of them is always completed to a really high standard. Their work includes everything from weeding, to autumn leaf clearance, to pruning shrubs, to keeping tall hedges and small trees in great shape - the latter used to cost us much more with other garden companies. Our biggest problem is that when we're in the garden, passers-by keep interupting to tell us how much they love our garden!
