I hired M&M Gardening last year for a patio installation, garden clean up, and tree & stump removal because of their glowing reviews. Despite paying £3,615, the experience and the final result were not to a standard I'd expect of professionals. The Paving: The attention to detail is very poor, slabs are roughly notched around posts with uneven gaps. The works were initially completed without the manhole cover, despite being detailed when planning the works; so they returned weeks later to rectify this. But, because it was an afterthought, the integration is messy. These covers are supposed to be less noticeable but as one of tiles used does not match the existing slab colour and the cutting of the slabs was fudged, it's just an eye sore (see image). The Tree Removal: When quoting, Manoj was confident there would be no issues. However, while they felled the tree, they were unable to remove the stump with the mini digger. They tried using a hand axe and eventually just poured stump killer on it. While I appreciate you cannot see what is under the surface, we knew the tree was the awkward part of the job; had there been concerns over the ability to remove it, we would have looked to other specialists. Summary: For the amount spent, I expected a professional finish. I would not recommend based on my experience. **Update following business response.** I am very surprised by their response. I have an invoice dated 14th August 2025 addressed to me and paid in full to the 'M&M Gardening Services' account. I also have the extensive SMS logs between myself and Manoj discussing the micro-digger hire for the stumps and works. I have uploaded a copy of my invoice to verify that this is a genuine review for work carried out by your team.

Very professional and reliable service. My garden has never looked this good. The staff were friendly and paid attention to every small detail. Highly recommended!
