Glenfield Electrical installed our new domestic solar and battery system. They have extensive knowledge and experience with solar installations, offered a competitive quote and their workmanship was outstanding. What more can I say, an excellent company to do business with.

Very professional survey. Good explanation of how solar and battery works. There is a lot of misinformation out there. Take buying a gateway, the nationals in the ads offer it as an extra. Without it in a power cut your solar will be stopped.<br><br>Had some small snagging issues, fixed within a week. It's now in filling my household needs 99% of the time. That is all I wanted with an off peak tariff for the EV, never pay full price electricity again.<br><br>Had an immersion timer fitted should save on gas in the summer. Looked at the EDDI, but that is more to divert solar to your immersion. If you have battery an immersion timer made more sense to me and far cheaper.<br><br>Overall very happy with the install. Easy to contact Glenfield, keep you up to date and fix any issues.<br><br>Highly reccomended

I am really pleased with Glendfield Electrical. I contacted them regarding a solar installation for my parents' house. Their solar designer, Amy, arranged a site visit to meet us in person. After spending a couple of hours designing a suitable system, we decided to proceed, and an installation date was scheduled. We were kept informed throughout the process and were assigned a project manager, Shaun, who communicated frequently and effectively.<br><br>On the installation day, the team arrived promptly. The roofing team installed the solar panels while the electricians set up the battery, inverter, and all the wiring. Everyone was friendly, and the entire installation was completed within the day, with the system up and running.<br><br>A few days after the installation, we received our handover pack, which included certificates to pass on to our energy provider. Overall, I am very happy with the installation and service provided by Glendfield Electrical, who also offered competitive pricing. If anyone is interested in solar installation, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks again to Amy, Shaun, and the rest of the team.

Choosing who to buy a Solar System from is no easy task, believe me. You are constantly being fed advertisements each claiming to be the best with all kinds of offers. I am old enough to remember Double Glazing techniques!<br><br>I chose Glenfield Electrical why? Because the Sales person was extremely knowledgeable about the system and made recommendations that made sense backed by easy to understand data. She had experience of designing and installing the systems and spoke in a no pressure environment. Happily leaving without an order for us to mull over the proposal.<br><br>The following day we concluded the sale over the Telephone just as she had recommended and the specification and order confirmation came swiftly followed including a guarantee for the down payment. So far a World Class experience. Now time for the hardest thing (in my case) waiting for installation to make sure I had made the right decision<br><br>Frankly the time between order and installation I feel Glenfield could have done better. It is only a small critique but communication could be improved. There are some necessary approval rules that have to be ratified between our home and the main Electrical supplier, applied on our behalf by Glenfield actually everything rule wise was completely done by Glenfield.<br><br>Installation day came and the Team Leader arrived spot on time and work commenced. One thing that really impressed me was that whenever possible whilst drilling a hole they had a vacuum cleaner talking away the debris! The following day the team arrived again spot on time same work ethic, highly Delightful Experience.<br><br>Every aspect of the job routing the Cables, installation of the Battery and Inverter etc. and Electric Car Charger was done with Surgical Standard, again World Class.<br><br>In summery Glenfield Electrical is a Supplier I would highly recommend, a World Class experience that has been superb.

From 1st call to completion of the battery installation was smooth and pain free!<br>Instillation team and admin team were all helpful and they knew what they were doing<br>Battery were installed on 12th January 26 every thing working fine.<br>My only suggestion is during hand ever need to set up the settings and explain in bit better way- every one is not extremely IT literate
