I recently had an oak front porch built, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. Gavin, Dave and the team went above and beyond from start to finish. Despite working through pouring rain, wind and cold weather, they never cut corners or slowed down their effort. Their work ethic was outstanding - always punctual, polite and incredibly hard working. At the end of each day, they made sure everything was cleaned and tidied, leaving the area neat and ready for the next stage. That level of care and respect for my home really stood out. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the finished porch looks fantastic both during the day and lit up at night. It has completely transformed the front of my house. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship and a reliable, professional team.

First time we used Keith Pownall & Sons for a major bedroom refurbishment including levelling and installation of a new wooden floor. Very impressed with the excellent workmanship from Gavin and also his team of plasters, plumbers and electricians. So pleased with everything and all lovely people to work with. Will definately be using them again for future building work.

After speaking to several building firms, we selected Pownall’s to work with. They are an established family business. Their ethics shone throughout the project. Sticking to their original costs, even throughout Covid, when others were increasing prices hand over fist. They were always available to speak to, arrived on time, left the site tidy and delivered work to the highest standards. I needed to have people I could trust, both financially and around my family. Another benefit was they dealt with all of the other trades on the job. These trades have worked with them for a long time and therefore treat Pownall’s as a priority customer, meaning that we never had to wait for the next job to start. Their values also aligned with Pownall’s. This included purchasing materials from merchants, meaning that we didn’t have unexpected delays. As with any large project, there’s bound to be one or two things that need revisiting after the work is finished. For me, this is where they shine. They treated any issues with urgency and got the matter dealt with quickly. I have gone on to recommend them to a number of friends and family and will continue to do so. I have already asked them to do additional work.
