The coffee is lovely, staff really friendly and very quick service. Though the food wasn’t the best it was a take on an oatcake I’d never really tried before so maybe it was just me. Either way the outdoor seating offers a lovely view of the canal. Would highly recommend stopping by for a coffee and some cake.
Loverly food, friendly staff and inside an historic building full of atmosphere.
Very picturesque setting by the canal side. Plenty of parking for cars. Arrived at 3. It shuts at 4. Very little left in the display. A few slices of cake. Asked if we could have a toasted teacake and told only cold stuff. This seems to be a common theme with cafes now. Any clearing up by staff seems to be done in opening hours meaning the customer has a shorter window for being served food that needs on the spot prep in case they dirty the equipment.
