Initially I would say the service was excellent beyond question, Jason came out and confirmed the fault and that it was an awkward job. Job was carried out very professionally and received the invoice which confirmed the Quote price. After attempting to pay the invoice via debit card it failed due to a āmerchant errorā, I duly phoned stating that I wanted to pay but it wouldnāt let me and could she provide an account number so I could do a bank transfer. I was politely informed it was in the small print, it was. I asked politely did she not think the Labour charge (Ā£180) was excessive considering it took Jason a little over an hour to complete the job, I will only say I was told it was ānone of my businessā and shortly after threatened that the boiler valve would be illegally removed if I didnāt pay. Iām am now waiting to be able to pay the invoice in good faith but am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism regarding what I believe was a pertinent question. I write the above because the installation and workmanship of the job was 2nd to none! It appears I am correct regarding the unprofessional attitude of Marriane, she accuses me of sending aggressive emails, well I have all the emails I sent and can assure people that I did receive threats from her regarding removing the part repaired. I do accept that I was frustrated regarding her response to my question. Payment was refused 3 times which I believe was because I refused to pay for the ācard chargeā that was requested.
Phoned them due to my boiler breaking down. I had already done some homework and tracked down the fault to one of 2 things (PCB or Flame Detector sensor). I had ordered a new PCB off Amazon, just needed someone to fit it. Woman on phone was very helpful and said that they don't normally bother replacing PCB boards as they class it as a band aid (not her words but the underlying meaning is the same). Said she'd phone the guy and phone me back. It was as she said, he didn't want the job, she apologised and bid me a good day. I did get it fitted by a family member in the end, works fine. This is our 3rd PCB, last one lasted 11 years before it needed replacing. 3 stars just because the woman on the phone was so pleasant. Edit in reply. I left the review as I found my dealing with you a pleasant experience, while it wasnt what I wanted to hear, I fully respected your input. But at the time I could not (and still can't) afford a replacement boiler.
