Please, please do not be fooled by this company. All the good reviews are from people like me that took out a policy a few years back and thought what a great price and the website is easy to use. I have now had 2 occasions this year where they have refused to do the work and make me feel small by saying ‘it’s all in the small print’. The first issue was the heat exchange that’s the main element of a boiler - I checked all other companies and they cover it - this lot don’t. So you how it’s a one off and you have just been unlucky but oh no……….have a blocked drain and someone comes around, does not even attempt to do anything and says toilet needs to come off to get a camera down……..and you guessed it, after 3 days of not doubt them looking through the small print they say it’s not covered - so 2 for 2. I wish I had looked at the reviews that were service based and not all the people happy with the price. Please don’t use this company, you will regret it like many have done if you read the reviews. They don’t care about you. I tried to resolve without having to give feedback like this but they are not interested. Very rude response back and basically said go and do your worst - so here I am. I have managed to stop a few of my friends and family away so feel feed I have at least saved them a lot of pain - if I can help just one of you to not purchase one of their pointless policies then this time had been worth it. Only time they get interested is when you leave a poor review - so if you are reading this Your Repair - don’t bother contacting you had your chance and this is clearly the end result you wanted - can’t wait until September so I can go to someone who actually covers your needs Update - just wanted to add that I can see that Your Repair have responded saying that gave a good will gesture- this was give me back the £60 I paid for someone to walk in my house for 2 mins, not even try and walk out again- I would say that’s the least they could have done - they could (and should) have done more in my view but know that’s something we will just have to disagree on - moving to Homeserve as soon as this expires
So the second time I've arranged a friend to wait at the property for the engineer to visit and service the boiler, 1st time without any communication engineer didn't show up, no follow up apology from anyone. This time, lunchtime arrives getting a little anxious call to get an update from customer service, engineer has nothing in their diary so another day of waiting around. You repair cancelled at first opportunity.
Used to be Really good company, looked after their customers even after the job done received courtesy call to find out about the work .but things have changed significantly and as a customer I’m not quite happy …
Engineer, Dean, was brilliant Not only fixed the low pressure but went to a lot of trouble to find out what could have caused it. Hopefully it's not a leak somewhere, but if it happens again, he has put in his report his findings to make it easier for future engineers 😉 Thank you
I think your staff in your call center choose what is insured and what isn’t. I have had various conversations with your staff and one in particular was very adamant that the job would not be covered before she was even told what the part was. We have an older boiler that has been serviced every year and maintained to a good standard. She kept saying it’s an old boiler so my question is if that’s the case why are you renewing my cover every year if you have no intention of fixing the faults. I have been with you for years and I feel the last couple of years service has slipped. The only reason you would be pushing for us to get a new boiler is so you have less call outs so money being paid monthly is all profit. Very disappointing is what I would say. Your reviews are not great and this is one of the reasons why.
