When both my gas central heating and immersion heater stopped working in the same week I was not happy, not least because the reliable and friendly plumber I have turned to over the last few years has now stopped working. I had no idea who to call. It took me several years to find a good heating/plumbing person before, having had bad luck with other people who repeatedly didn't turn up, so when the previous plumber stopped working I was worried I'd have another difficult hunt for help. I found Tom via Google reviews, called him this morning and he came to the house today to take a look at both the boiler and the immersion. He was very good at communicating about his expected arrival time and very polite and respectful. He took care to investigate what was wrong with the boiler and checked various things, and gave me advice about different routes to getting it fixed which I found really helpful. He even called the manufacturer to get a quote for me. He was mindful of the cost of the different options and I really appreciated his understanding, customer-focussed approach. While at the house he was able to fix the immersion heater having thoughtfully got a spare part on the way here. I liked how Tom explained what he was doing and the pros and cons of different options. He was clearly knowledgeable and cares about his customers. I will definitely call him first if I have future plumbing or heating problems.

Tom came out last week. A different plumber left our boiler smelling of oil inside the house. Tom was incredible and found a small leak. So polite and kind and clearly knowledgable and experienced. Excellent work and thank you Tom!
